January 11, 2018

Happy New Year! We have so many exciting things going on to start the year! STEAM night is tonight and it should be a fantastic time! Please bring your child to the school between 4:30 and 6:30 so they can learn some very interesting science facts presented through experimentation and discovery.  Monday, January 15th is a holiday to celebrate Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday. We will also be studying the amazing accomplishments of Jackie Robinson this month.  Please have your child read each night. There is no better teacher than a good book!! Also, it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, that you stress good handwashing, using tissues, coughing and sneezing in your arm, and keeping personal spaces sanitized due to the presence of flu and other respiratory illnesses that are rampant this time of year.   I have added some articles for you to read at your leisure. As always, if you need me, please don't hesitate to call, text, or email between 6am and 9pm.
