It's Time to Get in Shape!!

Next week we begin our unit on Geometry.  We will learn about different shapes, quadrilaterals, equal parts to include wholes, halves, thirds, and fourths to complete a whole. We will learn to partition shapes into equal parts and continue working on word problems with addition and subtraction.

Like A Lion!

March is upon us in full force. The students are doing so well!! We have a lot of work to accomplish before Spring Break in early April. Please make sure you are checking your child's agenda daily as we are communicating with you daily through it.  Please make sure you are using Spelling City for daily spelling practice.  In addition, there is weekly math homework to provide extra practice on the standards we are working on for the week.  I am providing a math link below which provides information from Cobb County on all academic areas.  On March 28th we are going to the Carter Center to learn more about our President from Georgia, Jimmy Carter.
